My journey is shaped by the beginning of sharing my empowered voice, believing in myself and boldly embodying my authentic essence.
My passion for personal healing my embodiment began at an early age. At 6 I began to feel the pressures of this world and how it led many astray. Distracted away from their own truth, happiness and authentic knowing. Through my healing journey from the age of 13 onwards, living a life of numerous mental illnesses I knew that there was a greater deliciousness to what the life being lived prescriptively was.
Through the twists and turns of recovery, I could not forget when I saw my true self through the portal of my ocean blue eyes. “There I was! There I am!” I exclaimed, as if I was seeing myself for the first time.
This exact moment, I gift immense gratitude to the novel held in my feeble hands which presented a profound quote from the marvellous James Baldwin, which read:
"Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced."
This was the catalyst for understanding that although what I was navigating was not my fault or choice, like most trauma we each navigate, but that I had the power and ability to make changes I desired. To be the change. To take ownership of my life.
So I unleashed myself, in all my authentic glory into this world. Not an easy feat, but one I would not trade any other reality for.
Through recovery, healing and meeting myself deeper, is when my passion for the three pillars of rediscovery, remembrance and reclamation began as a sovereign state of empowerment. A slight rebellion to societal standards if you will. For I believe these three significant pillars found me and now I have the privilege of allowing them to meet you in your own means, as they ooze deeply into and through your beautiful embodiment.
